Understand the Meaning of Dreams
Alissa Goldring‘s Dream Method
Write down your dream as it occurred, then rewrite applying these rules:
- Change verbs to the present tense and begin each verb phrase with the phrase “I have” in the sense that “I have my haircut every month.”
Example: I have myself looking at a little fuzzy yellow bird.
- Add the phrase “part of me” after every noun or name. Replace pronouns with the nouns they refer to and follow these with “part of me.”
Example: I have the little bird part of me be an unusual bird part of me.
- Add “in me” or “of me” when doing so will intensify your feeling that all of the dream is going on in you at this moment and perhaps continuously.
Example: I have the little bird part of me able to read in me and speak to me.
These simple steps will give you insight into the real meaning of your dreams.
